Get a Head Start on College
The College Board Advanced Placement (AP) Program allows high school students to earn college credit and advanced placement through AP's college-level courses and examinations.
Ask your guidance counselor if your high school administers its own AP exams. If not, you may arrange to take one at any participating high school. Contact your guidance counselor to learn about approved providers nearby.
The College Board offers AP exams each May and evaluates students' proficiency based on a 5-point scale. Review a list of AP exams and learn what scores you need to earn credit at Ball State.
