Assistant Director of Admissions
Alicia is a two-time graduate of Ball State, earning both her B.A. and M.A. in 2016 and 2019. She got her start working at Ball State in 2017 when she began scheduling and coordinating courses for the Department of Special Education. During this time, her passion for Higher Education grew and she knew that she wanted to make it her career.
In 2019, her desire to help students led her to the Office of Admissions. It was here that she began working with first-generation students and uncovered the impact she could have on them and their families. One of her favorite parts about being an Assistant Director is showing prospective students and their families that college can be an option. Being able to open up doors that students didn't know existed is rewarding and she loves seeing that excitement ignite when they realize that they can become a college graduate.
Alicia spends most of her free time reading or being in the kitchen. She enjoys baking for her friends and family and cooking big meals during the holidays. Some of her favorite books include the Harry Potter Series, The Wrath & The Dawn, and Their Eyes Were Watching God.
