About Dylan
Why do you enjoy working with transfer students?
I love working with transfer students because of the individual attention we are able to give students in their transfer journey. No one student experience is the same, and every student has different needs. Being able to get to know each student and work with them to help advise their transfer to Ball State is always new and exciting, and it is so rewarding when everything clicks, and we get to see these students on campus for orientation.
Why do you love Ball State?
Ball State has a certain gravity to it that entices and makes you keep coming back. From the beautiful campus, to the people working and studying here, to the excellence in the academic programs, Ball State has a lot to offer. I came here for my undergraduate degree, stayed for my master's, and am now working here professionally. Needless to say, Ball State has become my home, and I love being here.
What excites you the most about the work the Transfer Center is doing?
Something that really excites me about the Transfer Center is the focus on building relationships with everyone that we work with. We really want to make sure that we are able to meet students wherever they are in the transfer process. Whether that is planning two years in advance or for the next academic term, we want to be there every step of the way to ensure students feel valued and confident in their decision.
