At the virtual event, you will be able to go between the various Zoom breakout rooms as you choose (similar to tabling at an in-person fair) to learn about your graduate programs of interest. We encourage you to visit as many sessions as your schedule allows.

Note: Participating graduate programs are listed below by the times they will be available. The fair is broken down into two hour sessions: 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (EST) and 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Some programs are participating in both hours while others are only participating in one session. Please note that programs listed under Spotlights will be participating at various 30-minute intervals during the event.

Adult and community education can provide the grounding and practical applications for teaching and learning for adults within many contexts. The master’s in executive development for public service is a one-of-a-kind graduate program that is learner-centered. We build this interdisciplinary program around the education, work experience, and goals of the learners.

The department of biology offers both thesis-based (MS) and non-thesis-based (MA) graduate programs in Biology and Physiology, as well as a graduate certificate in Biotechnology. Students enrolled in the programs can take classes and conduct cutting-edge research in Ball State's new Foundational Sciences Building, which is equipped with state-of-the-art labs, imaging facilities, and an aquatic facility.

Our doctorate of education in higher education includes major concentrations in higher education and in community college leadership. The higher education concentration emphasizes developing skills in higher education administration, organizational and policy development, teaching, curriculum development, and social justice advocacy related to post-secondary institutions. The master of arts/master of science in mathematics degree provides students with a broad graduate-level mathematical background suitable for community college teaching, for pursuing a PhD degree in the mathematical sciences, or for seeking employment in business, industry, or government.

As well-rounded educational experience within a collaborative, mastery-oriented learning atmosphere, the master of arts/master of science in sport and exercise psychology at Ball State University allows students the opportunity to work toward certification as a mental performance consultant and prepares students to be competitive applicants for doctoral programs. The Ball State sport administration graduate program is designed to prepare graduates for a career working in sport at any level. Our comprehensive curriculum allows students to pursue both an applied and theoretical approach to sport. Our completely online master of arts in education (MAE) in educational administration and supervision provides you with the preparation to earn a P-12 building-level administration and supervision license (principal’s license).

 

The master of arts in emerging media design and development (EMDD) trains students from all backgrounds to plan, develop, deploy, and test communication designs and storytelling across digital platforms. You’ll graduate as a highly-trained professional in the high-demand fields of strategic communication, user-centered design, user experience research, transmedia storytelling, design thinking, public relations, advertising, healthcare, corporate business, education, and more. EMDD is a project-based program in which students learn new skills in practical, applied settings. In the second year of the program, students earn most of their credit hours working on one large-scale project in collaboration with classmates and an external project partner. Past EMDD students have worked with BSU alums David Letterman and Jim Davis, USA Volleyball, the Vatican, Earth Charter Indiana, Circle of Blue, the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, and more.

Our two-year master of urban and regional planning degree will equip you with the skills to enter this exciting field. The master of urban design (MUD) is a STEM-designated, one-year, post-professional degree, designed in the theory and practice of public-focused interdisciplinary design for cities, towns, neighborhoods, and places. Our certificate in multi-tier systems of supports (MTSS)/response to intervention (RTI) is designed to provide teachers, school psychologists, and behavioral consultants with the ability to provide early, effective assistance to children who are having difficulty learning. You will learn how to lessen the chance of academic failure and behavioral difficulties through early intervention, skills for frequent progress measurement, and intensive, research-based instructional interventions for children who are having academic or behavioral difficulties. The 15-credit MTSS/RTI graduate certificate gives you the expertise to implement the latest and best practices in special education for determining the ideal instructional methods and placement for a child. The certificate can be incorporated into a master’s program in education. It’s a good choice if you have a teaching license in elementary, secondary, or special education.

The program consists of a rigorous combination of classroom and research experiences. GRE Test scores not required. The program provides limited clinical training and does not lead to licensure to practice at the master’s level.

Our degree’s emphasis on autism gives you an advantage in the job market. You’ll take up to three additional courses on autism, which goes above and beyond the Verified Course Sequence (VCS) by ABAI.

  • Come learn about the award-winning, nationally accredited master of architecture (M.Arch) program at the R. Wayne Estopinal College of Architecture and Planning. We offer two tracks for completing the M.Arch degree: Track 1 is a two-year curriculum path for students with an undergraduate, pre-professional degree in architecture. Track 2 is a three-year curriculum path for students with any undergraduate degree wishing to pursue a master's degree in architecture.
