Anna Peace is excited to join the talented students and dedicated faculty and staff of the Department of Theatre and Dance as the academic advisor.

She grew up near Kansas City, Missouri and found her way to Indiana because of Ball State University. Anna completed her BA in English and MA in elementary education at Truman State University, in Kirksville, Missouri. After teaching third grade, she realized her passion for education fit better at the university level than in the elementary classroom.

Anna graduated from Ball State's Student Affairs Administration in Higher Education (SAAHE) master's program in the summer of 2020. During her year in SAAHE, Anna worked as a graduate assistant in the Office of Retention and Graduation, specifically serving 21st Century Scholars and working on first-generation college student initiatives. She gravitated toward the Theatre and Dance Department because of the exceptional quality of productions and graduates and she is astounded by the enthusiasm and care displayed by the students, faculty, and staff. Anna's spouse is a Residence Hall Director on campus and both are delighted to continue working with Ball State students.

In her free time, Anna enjoys bike riding, playing board games, and gardening (any tips for indoor gardening while living in a residence hall are welcome!). Please connect with Anna for your scheduling questions, 4-year degree mapping, campus resource referrals, and all other advising needs.

Staff Member since June 2020.
