In 2015, she was recognized by the College of Communication, Information, and Media for Excellence in Teaching.

Paige’s sales courses focus on immersive, real-world projects. Her sales students sell for local non-profits and plan promotional events for university and off-campus clients. Paige’s Fall 15 TCOM 344 Media Promotions course created the annual Cardinal Screenplay Festival, a table read night celebrating the work of ENG 410 Advanced Screenwriting students. Her Spring 16 TCOM 345 Advanced Sales and Promotion course established the annual Eaton Public Library Art Show fundraiser. In Spring 17, her TCOM 345 class facilitated the second iteration of the EPL Art Show, raising over $1,000 in support the show. Paige has also supervised numerous independent studies, practicums, and honors theses over the years.

She also serves as the department’s alumni communications coordinator. Paige organizes the annual TCOM Homecoming Alumni Takeover and the March Spring Training alumni events, manages TCOM’s social media presence, and oversees the monthly TCOMemo alumni newsletter. She’s the faculty advisor for the TCOM student organization Cardinal Filmworks and the Ball State Anthropomorphic Art Society. She was recognized in February 2015 as WLBC’s BSU Difference Maker of the Month.

Off-campus Paige has been a member of the Muncie-Delaware County Chamber of Commerce Image Committee since 2010. She is a 21st Century Scholars Mentor for Project Leadership and has been a board member and grant writer for Eaton Public Library since 2015.

Prior to joining the department of Telecommunications, Paige served as an account manager and copywriter at CS Kern in Muncie, Indiana, working with local, regional, and national clients. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Telecommunications and American History, and a Master of Arts in Telecommunications from Ball State University. She was voted Graduate Student of the Year in 2005 by her fellow Digital Storytelling graduate students. Her thesis focused on the value of a web presence in funeral service.
