We believe in giving our students every opportunity for advancement by hands-on experience. Internships are one facet of experiential learning in our department.

Our students have studied stars in Arizona and will present their findings to the Astronomical Society. Others have done work with the FBI, studying ballistics, and some have gone to Montana State to find what makes the sun work.

One of the projects that our department is very proud and excited about is the Center for Computational Nanoscience, a computational research hub and a joint effort between us and four partner schools.
