Michael McKinlay earned his MS in Physics from Auburn University. He is currently a PhD candidate at Auburn University planning on finishing his dissertation early this Fall 2021. He has research experience with dusty and low temperature plasmas. Prior to joining the Department of Physics and Astronomy at Ball State University, Michael was a graduate teaching assistant and research assistant at Auburn University.
