Suspension of the Master of Arts in Technology Education

Admission to the Master of Arts in Technology Education will be temporarily suspended beginning Fall 2019 (through summer 2021). We will explore creative ways to reimagine and integrate this program with other Department of Educational Studies programs and possibly the other science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) education programs on campus.

Ball State University’s well-established master of arts degree in technology education serves the needs of practicing technology and engineering teachers, STEM teachers, and others who are interested in teaching about the content areas of technology. Some graduate students in this program teach secondary school courses in pre-engineering, Project Lead The Way, manufacturing, communications technology, drafting, design, energy systems, and wood technology, but others are not currently teachers.
