Course Requirements

Our program allows you to create a plan of study that fits your life. The 30-credit program can be completed in less than two years, plus course offerings are designed to be flexible. You can choose between an 8-week or 16-week course length.

You can choose to take one or two courses each semester. Your academic advisor will help you create a plan of study that best fits your needs.

• SPCE 610 Behavioral Consultation (3 credits)
• SPCE 611 Advanced Applied Behavior Analysis (3 credits)
• SPCE 619 Professional Issues in Applied Behavior Analysis (3 credits)
• SPCE 630 Research Methods for Behavior Analysis (3 credits)
• SPCE 680 Introduction to Persons with Autism Spectrum Disorders (3 credits)
• SPCE 682 Interventions and Treatments for Persons with Autism (3 credits)
• SPCE 683 Field-Based Experience in Autism (3 credits)
  or SPCE 638 Field-Based Experience in Applied Behavioral Analysis
• SPCE 689 Verbal Behavior (3 credits)
• SPCE 691 Supervision & OBM (3 credits)

Convenient, Flexible, and Applicable

The 100 percent online master’s in ABA is designed with the working adult in mind. Courses are asynchronous, meaning you can complete them at a pace that fits into your daily routine without worrying about being late to class.

If you’re worried about timing or course work, most students take one or two courses at a time. Or if you’re looking for a flexible way to quickly complete your degree, all of our courses can be completed on an 8-week accelerated schedule.

You can also start your master’s degree by earning either a graduate certificate in ABA or autism, and then earning the second later. Once you have both certificates, you only need one additional course to earn your masters’ in ABA with an emphasis in autism.
