Rebecca Burkart (PhD, Florida State University, 2001). Burkart teaches MUHI 200, 100, and 105 in addition to teaching private harpsichord lessons. She recently restarted the Early Music Ensemble. Past experiences include teaching music humanities, private lessons and vocal and instrumental ensembles at North Florida Community College.

She has presented papers at regional musicology conferences on secular and sacred topics including 18th C. psalmody in English parish churches, the music of 18th C. African-British composer Ignatius Sancho and music of the intimate theater in 1940s and 50s London.

She performs harpsichord solo and chamber music concerts at Ball State.
