Assistant Professor of Marketing
William Moser, Assistant Professor and Administrative Assistant to the head of the Department of Marketing, supervises the Marketing Internship Program. Professor Moser received his B.S. and M.A. in Business (1968) degrees from Ball State University and has completed work toward the Ph.D. in Marketing at Michigan State University. He joined the BSU faculty in 1968. Moser's research interests include self-marketing, use of the World Wide Web for self-marketing, use of computer technology to assess communication effectiveness, career management/assessment, skillset identification, supply chain management, logistics, industrial procurement (professional advancement and certification), procurement by government and service organizations, materials management, and uses of experiential educational techniques/internship programs. His teaching interests are Self-Marketing, Industrial Procurement, and Logistics. He has been recognized as Professor of the Year by both the BSU College of Business and Department of Marketing. Moser served as the faculty mentor for the initiation of the only Better Business Bureau operated on a university campus which opened its doors at BSU in 1975.
