Dr. Turick earned his PhD in Health and Human Performance with a concentration in Sport Management from the University of Florida. In 2014, he earned a MEd in Human Movement, Sport, and Leisure Studies from Bowling Green State University.

His research interests include diversity and inclusion in sport as well as student-athlete well-being. The last position he held was as a Graduate Assistant serving as a Course Instructor at the University of Florida
