Mitch Whaley
Professor Emeritus of Clinical Exercise Physiology
Hired in 1986, Dr. Mitch Whaley teaches in the graduate Clinical Exercise Physiology and undergraduate Exercise Science Programs. His areas of teaching include exercise testing and prescription, and electrocardiography. During his career he has served as Chairperson of the School of Kinesiology, Dean of the College of Applied Science and Technology, and the founding Dean of the College of Health. His research interests include long term health outcomes related to cardiorespiratory fitness, and the metabolic syndrome.
