Tony Mahon
Professor Emeritus of Exercise Science
Hired in 1990, Dr. Tony Mahon is a Professor of Exercise Science, Human Performance Laboratory, and Associate Dean in the College of Health. He has taught undergraduate and graduate classes in exercise physiology. His research has focused on various aspects related to pediatric exercise physiology. Tony serves on the editorial board for two journals - Pediatric Exercise Science and Research in Sports Medicine - and is the former president of the North American Society for Pediatric Exercise Medicine. He is most proud of mentoring MS and PhD students and for the success they have gone on to achieve. Tony has served as the Interim Chair of the School of Kinesiology and as an Associate Dean.
