Assistant Professor of Journalism
Gabriel B. Tait, PhD, is assistant professor of Diversity and Media in the CCIM, Department of Journalism, Ball State University. He is currently serving as the Phi Kappa Phi president-elect for the Ball State University chapter. His research areas include photojournalism, diversity and media, participatory photography, the role photography plays in constructing and representing cultural identities. He is co-editor of Narratives of Storytelling across Cultures: The Complexities of Intercultural Communication, Lexington Books—Fall 2019. He also created his visual research methodology called, “Sight Beyond My Sight” (SBMS).
