Assistant Professor of Computer Technology
Dr. Vamsi Krishna Gondi was an Assistant Professor in the Computer Science department at Lock Haven University. He also held the position of Assistant Research Professor and post-doc at the School of Computing at Clemson University.
He received his PhD from the University of Evry in France in 2008-09. He received his Engineering degree in 2002 from JNTU in India and his Masters in 2004 from Telecom SUDParis in France.
His research interests include heterogeneous wireless and mobile networking, Cyber Physical Systems, and Cyber Security. His work involves designing and developing remote monitoring infrastructures and contributing to projects: Intelligent River, Precision Agriculture, Eco-restoration, Smart Transportation, and Intelligent Forests.
Before joining Clemson University, he held the position of Manager at Wipro Technologies in India and Researcher at LRSM at the University of Evry. He also worked on several projects on next-generation networking under the European Commission; ITEA (SUMO, IMPONETS, Expshare, Wellcom), CELTIC (SEIMONET, MAGNETO), and Polymage.
He has published several papers in IEEE conferences, journals, and standardization bodies; he is also a panel member in several conferences.
