April is National Interprofessional Healthcare (NIPHC) Month as established by the National Academies of Practice. Interprofessional education entails learning about, from and with each other to enable effective collaboration and improve health outcomes. With everything going on, health professionals need the skills of interprofessional collaboration right now, more than ever. April 1 through April 16, the College of Health will bring awareness to NIPHC Month through reflection and sharing information and insight about Interprofessional Education (IPE). Leonard A. Kaminsky, Ph.D., FACSM, director of the Fisher Institute of Health and Well-Being and the John & Janice Fisher Distinguished Professor of Wellness at Ball State University, has been appointed as editor of Sports Medicine Bulletin, a publication of the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM). Kaminsky, a long time ACSM member, has extensive experience working with journals including peer review and editorial duties. Congratulations.
