Graduates who have studied  meteorology and climatology have found jobs in commercial and government sectors. Some of our graduates have landed jobs with radio and television stations, state emergency management agencies, and private forecasting companies in both the United States and Canada.

Specific job titles our graduates include:
  • chief meteorologist
  • state emergency management training coordinator
  • Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellite (GOES) program data analysis team member
We’ve had students also intern with the Oak Ridge National Laboratories, U.S. Air Force Institute of Technology, The Weather Channel, the National Weather Service, and with radio and television stations in Indiana and Michigan.
