Rathin Rathinasamy, professor of finance, received his PhD in finance from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, TN. He has taught both undergraduate and graduate courses in corporate finance, international finance, investments, portfolio theory, capital budgeting and international business. Currently, he is teaching international finance, investments and international business strategy courses. He has published in Financial Review, Journal of Financial Markets, Institutions and Money, Journal of International Finance, Journal of Applied Business Research, Journal of Economics and Finance, Global Business and Finance Review, Finance India and Journal of Financial and Strategic Decisions. His current research interests include mergers and restructurings, class action wealth effects, and volatility of futures markets.
