Curriculum Vitae
Erik Nesson received his Ph.D. from Emory University in 2012 and joined Ball State University in the same year. His research interests include health economics, law and economics, and labor economics. Dr. Nesson’s current projects include measuring the effects of the effects of public policies on risky behaviors such as smoking, alcohol use, and tobacco use, examining the relationship between education and health, and developing new methods to measure health inequality. His research has been published in the American Economic Journal: Economic Policy, Health Economics, the American Journal of Health Economics, and Economics and Human Biology and been covered by the Washington Post and the Wall Street Journal.
