About Dallis Pike

Dallis Pike is the Assistant Director of Debate at Ball State University. As Assistant Director, he helps maintain the BSU Debate Team’s student-centered mission to develop debaters from “wherever they are at” in public speaking into being well-rounded and well-prepared orators, capable of competing at the highest levels of the National Educational Debate Association. Dallis has been active in academic debate since the year 2000. As a competitor, he achieved a Degree of Distinction when he graduated High School, and in college he competed in the National Educational Debate Association where he became an All-American Debater as a senior. He has coached debate at Ball State University in some for or another since 2008. He is proudly 100% a BSU Cardinal, receiving his Bachelor of Arts in Secondary English Education, and his Master’s in Secondary Education and a Certificate in Charter School Leadership from Ball State University.
