Orchid Collection Curator
My name is Halyn Ferris and I am the new Orchid Curator for the Rinard Orchid Greenhouse here on campus. Some students and employees may recognize me from EGNR where I am currently finishing my MA in Environmental Geosciences. I was also fortunate enough to get to work alongside Erica Oliver the Environmental Education Coordinator as one of her student employees for the last year and a half. My passions are environmental education, conservation, and botany with a special interest in orchids and carnivorous plants.
