Mold and shape your future with the ceramics concentration of our master of fine arts in visual arts (MFA). Through concentrated study and experimentation, you'll master the necessary skills of a professional artist.
What You Will Study
Be guided through graduate coursework by your personal inquiry while augmented by close connections with a committee of faculty you'll select. Through interactions with faculty and peers, explore ideas and techniques, interact with visiting artists and critics, and broaden your overall technical, aesthetic, and conceptual understanding of media within contemporary practice.

Ready to Apply?
To be considered for Ball State's graduate program, you must have earned an undergraduate degree in animation, film, art, graphic design, illustration, or another visual art discipline. Admission is granted once per academic year. Using a cohort model of instruction, coursework begins each Fall semester.
