Professor Jenson received an MFA in Studio Art from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a BFA in Drawing and Painting from the University of Minnesota at Duluth. Jensen’s work explores modes of drawing and probes issues regarding utility and function, biology and narrative. She teaches drawing at the foundation, intermediate and advanced levels and mentors senior projects. Recent exhibitions include “Alive! Commodity, Zombie, Avatar, Fetish” at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, IL; Shift and Collide: Drawings From Near and Far at Riverworks Gallery in Greenville, SC; and Circus at Gallery Project in Ann Arbor, MI. Ms. Jensen is a fellow of several residency programs, including La Napoule Foundation in France; the Millay Colony in Austerlitz, NY; and Willapa Bay AiR in Oysterville, WA.
