Undergraduate students of all disciplines are invited to enroll in this 15-credit minor that fosters an understanding of and empathy for residents of all places— especially those outside the scope of more conventional architectural practice.
We embrace a way of thinking—a world view, a set of beliefs—about issues of equity as they relate to the design of the built environment. It is an approach to socio-spatial analysis and design that includes and responds to issues of marginalization, stigma, dignity, and discrimination.
