Nidia Flis has been teaching in the IEI, first as a graduate assistant in the school year of 2007/2008 and then as a faculty member since 2011. She has a Master’s degree in TESOL from Ball State University and a Bachelor’s degree in English Teaching from Universidad Pedagógica Nacional “Francisco Morazán” in Honduras. She was awarded a Fulbright LASPAU scholarship for her Master’s Degree in the United States in 2007. Nidia has been an ESL instructor for over 13 years. She has taught English at all academic levels including college, has worked as an English coordinator in a bilingual school and as an ESL instructor for international students.
