Dr. Nell Rose Hill is currently the Interim Director of the Intensive English Institute. 

Dr. Nell Rose Hill has taught English and French in higher education for the past 15 years. Prior to Ball State University, Dr. Hill served as the program coordinator of the Intensive English Program at Governors State University. Dr. Hill received her Ph.D. in English with a specialization in composition and TESOL from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2019. Her dissertation focuses on virtual communities of practice associated with Intensive English Program administrators.

Dr. Hill has a M.Ed. from Ferris State University specializing in curriculum and instruction. Her B.A. is in French from Brigham Young University. She loves learning about cultures and languages, and she has lived in France, Belgium, and Hungary. Her hobbies include reading, cycling, and traveling.
