The Intelligent Networked Devices Institute (INDi) is working with the AT&T Indiana to promote the third annual IoT Civic Hackathon. The Internet of Things (IoT) holds the potential for radical transformations. If you could collect data from any location, at any time, and respond to it immediately, what could be done to enhance the capabilities, efficiency, or safety of First Responders?
INDi will be forming interdisciplinary teams to participate in the IoT Civic Hackathon. There will be an information/call-out session about the event on Monday, March 19th, at 2:00 PM in AT117. The Hackathon is open to students, staff, and faculty. Prior knowledge of IoT technologies is not a requirement. The only requirement is the willingness to consider what could be done. We will be forming groups with individuals from across disciplines. Once the teams have been formed, a couple of sessions will be organized to introduce individuals to IoT technologies.
Have an idea to energize and enhance First Responder technology? Help us make Indiana safer at the IoT Civic Hackathon!
Join other developers, designers, students and technologists from all over Indiana to build mobile apps and hardware solutions to help law enforcement, fire and EMS personnel. Hangout with us as we hack and build IoT apps and projects, get fed, compete for prizes across different categories and most importantly: meet new people and scout for teammates to work on new or current projects. We will have experts from AT&T and the local community onsite to assist with your development.
