Our Educational Mission Statement: to promote and support multidisciplinary environmental educational opportunities in natural settings for students of all ages
Check out the list below for events, programs, workshops, and field trip opportunities that help us fulfill our mission statement.
Group tours, programs and field trips are available year-round for all ages. Visits can include Christy Woods, the Teaching & Research Greenhouse, the Dr. Joe and Alice Rinard Orchid Greenhouse, and our brand-new Environmental Education Center (nicknamed the Nature Lab). Programs generally last 45-60 minutes, and can be tailored to fit the needs of your particular group and relevant state and national education standards. Public Programs are offered throughout the year. These programs are free and do not require registration, and provide activities for all ages based on a particular topic.
