Youth Mentoring Initiative (YMI)

Youth Mentoring Initiative (YMI) partners with the Hamilton Southeastern School system to provide specialized mentoring programs for students that encourage the development of personal values. The mentoring community is comprised of area citizens committed to the highest level of service, integrity, encouragement and empathy. YMI staff takes great care in matching mentee students with volunteer mentors. The Ball State Fishers Center team has served this dynamic organization since 2015 at the intermediate and high school levels. Like Ball State University, YMI cultivates community by investing in our youth.

We encourage our alumni, students and stakeholders to join us by committing up to one hour per week to participate in this important community connection.
