Professional Continuing Education courses provide instruction that meets standards for continuing education units or professional growth for Architects, Landscape Architects, Planners or LEED accredited professionals.
PROFESSIONAL CONTINUING EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS IN INDIANA |
Architects: |
AIA requires: 18 learning unit (LU) hours each year - Of the 18 LU ≥8 LU hours must relate to health, safety, and/or welfare (HSW)
- Of the 8 HSW, ≥4 credits must be in sustainable design (SD) topics.
State of Indiana requires: 24 hours between biennial license renewals - Of the 24 hours ≥16 hours must be HSW
- Of the 24 hours ≥16 hours of which must be acquired in Structured Educational Activities

LEED AP: 30 CE hours biennially - Of the 30 ≥6 must be LEED-specific hours
LEED Green Associates: 15 CE hours biennially - Of the 15 ≥3 must be LEED-specific hours
