Dani Witzigreuter
Executive Director of Academic Advising
My name is Dr. Dani Witzigreuter, and I am your executive director of Academic Advising. I have been a student three times over at Ball State – I earned my bachelor’s degree in English, my master’s degree in Student Affairs Administration, and my doctorate degree in Higher Education. I absolutely love what I do for staff and students within the university environment, and I love Ball State!
I have served in an academic advising capacity for over 15 years. I also have been an academic advising administrator for almost nine years. I think it is a privilege to serve students and staff, and I do so ardently in the areas of leadership and supervision. I also am focused on diversity, equity, and inclusion as well as holistic growth and development for each individual and their needs. I believe in and practice continuous improvement in university setting, and I make sure that I am doing my best every day for those with whom I work.
I am passionately committed and dedicated to my family. I have a husband and two children as well as two dogs and two cats. We are a very close family, and that includes extended family. I am a professional football fan and watch at least part of every game I can. I love most sports. I also am a huge movie watcher and often quote movies from the recent and distant past.
Ball State University is a great university, and within it you have multiple and tremendous opportunities to learn and grow. Know that Academic Advising, we want to be a part of your success network, helping you establish and maintain progress on your goals while in college and beyond!
