The mission of the Office of Retention and Graduation is to identify and remove barriers for students at risk of not returning to Ball State University or not on track to graduate in four years. Our staff reaches out to students who are conflicted about returning to Ball State University or are struggling academically. We provide students with the resources and support they need to ensure their academic success.
The Office of Retention and Graduation also offers special outreach programs to the following specific student sub-populations:
- 21st Century Scholars
- Freshman Commuters
If you are a student who is struggling with your transition to Ball State University or if you know of a student having difficulties, please do not hesitate to visit/make a referral to our office. Student success is an integral part of our mission. Our goal is to ensure all students have the opportunity to be successful at Ball State University.
