Research Week 2018
Sponsored Projects Administration is proud to present our yearly Research Week! Research Week 2018 will be here before we know it. This special week allows our Ball State Research Week Honorees to share their work as they present their projects to the Ball State research community. All presentations and lectures are free and open to the entire campus. Registration is not required for individual events, but is offered if you would like a record of your attendance.
The 2018 schedule is coming soon!
Research Week 2017
Research Week 2017 took place during the week of October 23, 2017 through October 27, 2017. The week began with Benefacta Day, followed by three days of honoree presentations, and concluded with the Creative Endeavor of the Year Lecture and the Researcher of the Year Lecture.
This annual, invitation only gala, celebrates the researchers and creative artists who have received internal and external funding for their work in the previous academic year. Benefacta also serves as the launch party for SPA's Ball State Research Magazine (the newest edition will be available after Benefacta). The Sponsored Projects Administration is thrilled to once again host this celebration and honor our outstanding faculty for their accomplishments.
Research Week Honoree Presentations took place Tuesday, October 24, 2017 through Thursday, October 26, 2017. There was one presentation each day from 3 - 5 p.m. in Bracken Library. Our Research Week Honorees were: Janay Sander, Cathy Whaley, and VJ Rubenstein.
Creative Endeavor and Researcher of the Year Lectures
Research Week 2017 concluded with our Creative Endeavor of the Year Lecture (CEOY), presented by Chris Flook. The Researcher of the Year Lecture (ROY), presented by Scott Trappe, was moved to a new date within the spring semester. Further details about the CEOY and the ROY honorees can be found within our 2017 Research magazine.
