Ball State is a member of the Council on Undergraduate Research (CUR).

The organization focuses on promoting high-quality and collaborative undergraduate research, scholarly, and creative activity opportunities for faculty and students. Founded in 1978, CUR is designed to assist colleges and universities with developing, supporting and sustaining their undergraduate research enterprise. CUR members share a common goal of providing high-quality and collaborative undergraduate research, scholarly, and creative activity opportunities for faculty and students.

When you register for member access, you can connect with the CUR community spread across the whole world.

In addition, you receive access to a library of funding resources, annotated bibliographies on assessment and integrating research into the curriculum, newsletter subscriptions, a monthly scholarly journal, webinar archives and undergraduate research celebration days at institutions across the country.

Sign up for a free individual account on the CUR website using your Ball State email address and affiliate with Ball State! Go to “myCUR” – click on My Account, and register today!

  • During the initial sign up, be sure to type the institution’s name in exactly as BALL STATE UNIVERSITY. Do not use the green “+” to add a new institution.
  • Once registered, please check the correct information is on file including your email address and physical mailing address, complete your communications preferences, and add any other demographic information. The more information you share, the more tailored your experience can be!
  • After you have completed your profile, email the CUR Membership team to request to be added onto your institution’s membership.
