Dr. Kristy Lee Tuttle
Assistant Teaching Professor of Biology
Dr. Tuttle is a former Ball State University Cardinal, graduating with a BS in 2007. She earned an MS at Western Illinois University in 2009 and her PhD from Northern Illinois University in 2021. Her research interests include phylogenetics, museum genetics and ancient DNA, and evolution and diversity of cryptic species complexes. She has also worked as a research assistant at the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History and as a collections volunteer at the Chicago Field Museum of Natural History.
