Josh Mannix is finishing his Ph.D. in mathematics education at North Carolina State University, he holds Master's degrees in mathematics from Purdue University and educational psychology from Ball State University, and he earned his Bachelor's degrees in mathematics and mathematics teaching from Indiana State University. Josh’s dissertation analyzes the characteristics and experiences of secondary math teachers who have math anxiety using both quantitative and qualitative research methods. Other research interests include curriculum design and teachers’ professional learning opportunities.
