Ari Page's primary research areas are transgender theory, media studies, fan studies, and literary theory, namely, how marginalized communities interact with television, movies, books, and online spaces to create new forms of representation and community care practices. They are especially interested in the online communities and literary practices of trans and nonbinary people in fannish spaces, though they aim to soon expand outward and look deeper into the concept of trans euphoria, a more specific iteration of gender euphoria.
