American conductor Gregory Robbins enjoys a diverse career as a performer, educator, and arts advocate. He has previously held the positions of conductor/director of the Idyllwild Arts Academy & Summer Program, associate conductor of the Greater Bridgeport Symphony, and in August 2022 joined the faculty of Ball State University's School of Music as interim director of orchestras. Active in the popular music scene, Robbins has received acclaim in the New York Times, Rolling Stone, and DownBeat magazine and conducted the GRAMMY nominated debut album for the jazz/crossover ensemble Assembly of Shadows.
