Himes has worked as a journalist with the Indy Star. She was a graduate assistant and instructor in the School of Journalism and Strategic Communication. As an undergraduate at BSU, Himes was the editor in chief of the BSU Daily News. Her research focuses on cognitive and motivational processing of health related PSAs.
