Our office is a community-oriented law enforcement agency. If you find yourself locked out of your car, or in a more serious situation, we can help. During an emergency, you can use one of the call boxes installed throughout campus or call us at 765-285-1111.

Charlie's CharterWe also aim to prevent crime. We provide Charlie's Charter, a safe way to get around campus at night, and educate students, faculty, and staff on how to protect themselves from domestic violence and rape. The rape defense class is free and teaches women defensive concepts and techniques against various types of assault by using easy, effective, and proven self-defense and martial arts tactics.

All reports of crime on this campus are taken very seriously. We know that often it is hard for someone to report crimes because of the nature of the situation. To continue to keep you and the rest of campus safe, we offer a secure Web site where you can give detailed information about a crime anonymously. This site is checked every morning and is used to solve on-going investigations.

To serve you better, we welcome any feedback you have. Whether you have praise, a complaint, or a general concern, we want to know about it. Please send e-mail to police@bsu.edu to communicate with our department.
