Eligibility and Preparation
If you are ready to retire, you need to make sure you meet the criteria set for you, depending on the type of employee you are—faculty, professional, staff, or service. There are also certain steps you will need to take. Learn more.
Ball State employees participate in one of three retirement plans: the Public Employees Retirement Fund (PERF), Indiana State Teachers Retirement Fund (TRF), or the Alternate Pension Plan (APP). We also offer the Tax Deferred Annuity Plan and the 457(b) Deferred Compensation Plan. Review each plan to learn more about eligibility, enrollment, contributions, deductions and vesting.
