Jo Corey
Jo Corey
Director of University Marketing and Promotion

Room:WQ 303

Jo is an east coast native, who became a Cardinal in 1995. From the moment she first visited Ball State’s campus, she knew that she was a Hoosier at heart. Many things on campus have changed since then, but Jo’s enduring passion for her alma matter and the city of Muncie, have not. Proud to come full circle and return to her roots after more than 20 years in local broadcasting, she brings extensive experience in project management, sales and full-service client and customer service. Jo’s passion for helping her clients succeed has fueled her best in industry performance over the last two decades and she is delighted to bring that approach to her service as an Account Strategist at Ball State.

Jo has a BA in telecommunications sales and management with a minor in philosophy from Ball State University in 1998 and a Master of Science in Human Resource Management from Thomas Edison State University in 2010. Outside of the office, she is recently married and the proud Mom of 2 teenage sons. You can often find the whole family volunteering on stage, or behind the scenes, at Muncie Civic Theater where Jo has served for the past 7 years in various capacities. Apart from teaching and directing musical theater, Jo enjoys Zumba, yoga, hiking and absolutely anything on, or in, the water. Jo loves inspiring people of all ages and especially believes that by supporting youth in reaching for their dreams we can change the future.
