Samantha Blankenship
University Photographer and Editor
Samantha is an award-winning photographer and member of the University Photographers’ Association of America. She earned her degrees in journalism, specializing in photography, and English studies from Ball State in 2015. Her passion for photography flourished from a young age (7), leading her to join Marketing and Communications in 2016 as the first woman full-time staff photographer. Since then, she has expanded her storytelling methods to include videography.
When she doesn’t have a camera in hand, Samantha loves to travel, read, write, play video games, play tabletop roleplaying games, and is often found cheering on the Indy Fuel.
The Muncie native shares her home with her fiancé, Bobby; an orange tabby, Sherlock; a tabby, Valkyrie; a shiba inu mix, Fuji; a shiba inu, Kenji.
