When Jessica had a chance to return to her alma mater in 2013 and help tell its story, she knew it was the opportunity of a lifetime—because Ball State changed her life. From her professors and the challenges and opportunities of her program to residence hall friends and roommates, the years Jessica spent on campus measurably shaped who she is today.
Jessica uses her artistic and design skills to invite others to experience all the university has to share. You might even say it’s become a bit of a mission for her to help people see themselves here and embrace the possibilities of a Ball State education.
But Jessica’s creative endeavors don’t stop when the workday is done. With the help of online how-to videos, she taught herself to quilt and now can’t imagine a world without fat quarters, rotary cutters, bobbins of brilliantly colored threads, and fascinating new patterns. Jessica shares her home with her husband, Jordan, and an unapologetically spoiled rescue dog, Jenny.
