Bobby creates photos and videos to help tell the story of Ball State. You'll regularly see him at sporting events, dinner parties, and other campus activities.

He was the photo editor for the Daily News, where he won several awards for both photography and writing and was a member of the first Ball State at the Games, covering the 2012 Summer Olympics in London.

Since graduating, he’s built a strong portfolio of work. He was a city beat reporter in Nebraska City, Nebraska, before moving to Kentucky. There, he was a staff photographer for the capital newspaper in Frankfort, The State Journal. After that, he freelanced for the state of Kentucky, Getty Images, the Lexington Herald-Leader, and the nonprofits Humans for Education and Water With Blessings.

He’s photographed the Kentucky Derby and Breeders’ Cup; University of Kentucky basketball and football games; Indianapolis Colts and Tennessee Titans; Big 10 football championship; professional boxing; Brickyard 400; a total solar eclipse; and a three-day cattle drive through the grasslands of Kenya.
