Ted Buck has been a communications strategist, project manager, and brand advocate at Ball State for more than 20 years. Starting as a media relations specialist, he took on the expanded role of communications manager two years later and senior marketing manager in 2008. He has helped university leaders and individual units achieve strategic marketing and recruitment objectives.
Ted’s clients include the Division of Enrollment Planning and Management and the Graduate School. He collaborates with clients to assess their communication needs, develop plans to address them, and implement effective solutions that align with university goals. His experience in strategic messaging, creative direction, and team leadership help ensure successful outcomes.
Several of Ted’s projects have won regional awards, including Ball State’s undergraduate admissions’ viewbook, the revamped Ball State Welcome Center for campus visitors in Lucina Hall, and Greening of the Campus conference materials. But he is most proud of two other Ball State products—his kids, who both graduated with honors.
