Brandon Smith
Associate Vice President for Information Technology Strategy and Creative Innovation
Brandon Smith, a Ball State alumnus with a strong background in video production, a BA in Telecommunications Production, and an MA in Broadcasting, helps lead the Digital Corps as our Executive Director. After graduating from Ball State, he began his production career at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. He moved to Philadelphia to complete his master's degree and work for ABC television, producing the annual Thanksgiving's Day Parade.
Returning to Ball State to produce and direct live television, he eventually found his way to the Digital Corps in 2009. Beyond his impressive educational background, Brandon thrives on working with students, finding immense rewards in guiding them towards successful careers.
Outside of the Digital Corps, his adventurous spirit takes him traveling the world, while his love for family extends to home-cooked meals and shared adventures. When not exploring or spending time with loved ones, Brandon enjoys reading, volunteering, and catching live music. Brandon's passions for learning and creating make him a well-rounded leader for the Digital Corps.
