Ball State University and the Office of Institutional Diversity promote teacher scholarship and support creative inquiry, research, and teaching with various institutional resources. The Diversity Associates Program, and the Developing Pedagogues to Enhance Excellence Seminar, are programs that encourage faculty to explore the relevance of diversity in all classes.
The Ofiice of Inclusive Excellence will recognize and celebrate faculty who have published diversity-related scholarship, completed diversity-themed creative projects or created a new diversity-related course in the past calendar year January 2019-December 2019. These efforts can be in the areas of race, religion, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity/gender expression, physical or mental disability, national origin, ancestry or age.
